The Special Education department offers coreclasses at all grade levels in language arts,mathematics and science to Resource and SpecialDay Class students. Classes are multi-grade andmulti-subject. Curriculum may be modified to meetstudent needs.

RSP and SDC Study Skills
Students receive assistance with class work and work with the teacher to gain a deeper understanding of their core class materials. Students get academic support in order to have equal access to the grade-level curriculum. Grades: 6, 7, 8 Requirement: IEP

SDC Social Studies
This course is for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). The students receive the social studies curriculum with specific instruction and as outlined in their IEP. Requirement: IEP

SDC Science
This course is for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). The students receive the science curriculum with specific instruction and as outlined in their IEP. Requirement: IEP

SDC Math
This course is for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Students receive the math curriculum with specific instruction and as outlined in their IEP. Requirement: IEP

SDC Language Arts

Reading Lab
This is a supplemental reading class for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Students receive instruction in reading to help them improve their fluency and reading comprehension skills. Requirement: IEP
